Tucked in the lush hills of Soto and a magnificent view of Santa Martha Bay, this dreamy escape stood sentry to the bluest of lake waters. It made for a memorable experience and a high-end historical stay you won’t find anywhere else on the island.
What to do
Idyllic beaches, scenic bays, and beautiful cover hike your way to green hills and pristine jagged mountains, hop around beautiful beaches, Landhuis Jan Kok, Jan Thiel, and explore local shops and art.
The charming town of Willemstad is the heart of the island. From architecture to the cobblestones, its deep history is palpable in every corner of the city with a quaint Portuguese, Spanish, and Dutch feel.
Explore the pearly waters of Kenapa beach. Nestled between cliff coastlines, it is a popular destination with scintillating pristine blue waters, white sands, and pebbles cove.
A small, secluded beach beneath the cliff at Lagun with stones and brown sand, where mostly locals hang out. The perfect place to watch the sun go down in West Point is quiet and relaxing.
“ Fisherman’s Beach” is a popular spot for snorkelers and divers. A nice shore dive with turtles.
When to go
When planning your trip, though warm temperatures and blue skies are year-round on the island, February through April is the best time to visit while things are quieter; however, June to December is your best choice if you seek vibrant energy.
What to pack
Pack your bags for a heartening and tropical escape surrounded by scenic bays, iridescent waters, and rays of sunshine. You’ll need sundresses, bucket hats, maxi dresses for endless days at the beach, swimsuits, and your favorite pair of sandals. In addition, you’ll need your favorite casual attire when exploring the town and a mini dress for a potential night around Manbo Beach Club.
